Island View Market opened its doors in the 1950s and has been providing groceries, beer/wine, & gas ever since. There’s not a day that goes by without a customer coming into the Market sharing their childhood memories of Island View Market. There have been a number of owners in the 70+ years since the Market opened – but the market has remained the same, a gathering place for the amazing families who’ve been customers over many decades.

We are Jerry & Julie Montiel, proud owners and stewards of Island View Market & Public House. We are passionate about family & community and are honored to be a part of the long tradition of community at Island View.
We’re excited to continue to provide a central place to spend an afternoon or evening connecting with neighbors, family & friends in the Public House. And to best support your family with a selection of quality food, drink, & household items in the Island View Market.
We’re passionate about sourcing local items to best highlight the fantastic Gig Harbor & surrounding areas. We look forward to meeting you – and understanding how we can best support your family and the connection that makes Island View so special.
This is an amazing place to stop and grab a beer and a bite to eat while relaxing and watching the boaters come and go. The staff is friendly and the outside seating is ultra-comfortable. My girlfriend left her wallet here and they shipped it all the way to California for us without even asking twice!!!
